Buying a New Washing Machine? Why You Should Get It Delivered

Posted on: 3 February 2020

Are you planning on buying a washing machine? You can have the unit delivered right to your home with an appliance delivery or courier service. Even if you have a vehicle and a few people who can help you get your appliance to your door, there are many reasons to consider having the unit delivered to your premises instead. Delivery is best; here are just a few reasons why.

1. You don't have to take time out of your day for transport

When you buy an appliance yet opt to have the appliance brought to your home on your own, you have to take time out of your day to transport the unit, particularly when it's a larger appliance like a washing machine. A washing machine has to be carefully loaded to keep knobs and hoses intact and should be shipped upright, which is more detailed than shipping other types of appliances might be.

Your option to deliver can make the process much easier. Rather than take time out of your day to prepare, load, and then deliver your appliance to your home, your appliance courier can do this work for you and all you have to do is possibly sign for the delivery once it gets to your home.

2. You don't have to worry about the smaller details

Do you have ties, blankets, ropes, space, and a dolly for transporting your newly purchased washing machine? Do you have the resources to install or even get the washing machine into your home? Are you fully prepared to get the washing machine from the store you bought it at to your home? Odds are, you may have some of the tools and equipment required for successful appliance delivery, but not all. You can have your courier service company deliver your washing machine to you and they may even be able to bring the unit right inside your home so you can easily install the unit once it gets there.

3. You don't have to worry about the delivery insurance

When you have a washing machine delivered, the courier service who brings you the appliance will be able to use their insurance or liability coverage to help you if the appliance gets accidentally damaged or have other things happen to it. This added peace of mind will make it much more successful when you have a new washing machine—or other appliance—brought to your home.
